If Midna were to appear in BOTW 2 , she may not reprise her role as Link’s companion. Breath of the Wild and Twilight Princess are vastly different games, and it seems odd for her to accompany Link as she once did since he has no sidekick in the first BOTW and there’s no evidence that he will have one in the second. In addition, light is harmful to Midna, since she’s a member of the Twili race. She needs to stay in Link’s shadow whenever she’s in the world of light in Twilight Princess , so it doesn’t seem like she would follow him in a Hyrule not taken over by the Twilight. It’s more likely she would be a minor character if she returns in BOTW 2 , and be involved with a side quest or a minor questline instead of being a main character again. Alternatively, she could also appear in DLC just like her helmet did in the first BO
This ability to phase through solid matter looks like it will be very useful in Link’s adventure through Hyrule. Though it doesn’t seem like it will have many applications in combat, it could have a great many in traversal and puzzle solving, and can help improve BOTW ‘s exploration in the sequel . Link’s new arm glows green while he uses this, so it would appear that this will be one of its features instead of something he has to pick up in the world like a weapon, though it may still have its limitations. Players may only be able to use it in the floating islands, for example, zeldatearshub.Com or only to travel vertically and not horizontally through walls. A new detail in Nintendo ‘s latest TOTK trailer, also hosted on YouTube, may also have shown another limitation; Link carries capsules on his waist that are lit up the same color as the green that accompanies this ability, so it’s possible that they’re a consumable power source that he will need in order to use
Throughout Zelda lore, Hyrule’s royal family has worked to protect the sacred Triforce and uphold the peace and prosperity of the land. However, many attempts to keep the Triforce safe have resulted in inevitable disaster, and the royal family’s decisions often lead to the very fates they struggle to avoid. As long as Hylia continues to reincarnate, it seems that Demise’s malice will indeed curse her and her Chosen Hero throughout the entirety of kingdom of Hyrule’s past , present, and fut
Link has always collected items to use over the course of his adventures in the Legend of Zelda games. Most of the time, their primary use is to help him solve puzzles and complete tasks that he couldn’t before. In fact, many of the series’ dungeons revolve around items that the player finds inside of or immediately before them. With Tears of the Kingdom possibly conforming dungeons , it seems likely that old tradition could make a return as well. With the addition of some classic items aside from the old standbys, it could make Tears of the Kingdom an exhilarating experie
King Bulblin is a minor antagonist in Twilight Princess . He’s the one who first kidnaps the children from Kakariko Village and indirectly sets up the rest of the plot. Link battles him many times throughout the game, both on horseback – with King Bulblin riding Lord Bullbo – and on foot. He’s a loyal servant of Zant, and his Bulblin minions frequently act as minor enemies on Link’s quest. Although he may seem evil, during his last encounter with Link and Midna, he gives them a Small Key and joins their side, stating that he was simply following whoever was strongest as it’s all he’s ever kn
The ball and chain is one of the most interesting weapons that Link has been able to wield in the past, and it’s a shame that it didn’t resurface in another adventure after Twilight Princess . It did see relevance again as one of Link’s alternate weapons in Hyrule Warriors , where it granted him an impressive moveset. Connecting Tears of the Kingdom to Twilight Princess could open a lot of possibilities, with the ball and chain as a weapon being one of the b
One of the first new abilities that was revealed showed Link passing through the ground on one of Tears of the Kingdom ‘s floating islands . This was first shown in Nintendo ‘s teaser at E3 2021 (now found on YouTube), but has not appeared since. When Link uses it, he floats upwards while surrounded by some kind of green light, and briefly pauses halfway through the ground before popping out of the other side. Immediately before this, a scene showed a drop of water falling to the ground in reverse, though the significance of this is unknown. Strange music also plays for the duration of the clip, and extends into the following
So little is known about the Zonai that they could even allow for the return of Twilight Princess characters in Tears of the Kingdom . Since the greatest remains of the tribe are the ruins and symbolism left behind, information about the Zonai relies heavily on speculation and theories relating to the influences of cultures from the real-world. The new trailer offers more material for speculation, and it seems that the Zonai have connections to the Calamities and darker history of Hyrule, whether they were the cause or not. It’s looking like players will get to delve further into the mystery of the Zonai and their disappearance in The Legend of _ **_Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
