The latest ability to be revealed for Tears of the Kingdom is a mechanical, bird-like glider. This was shown for only a few seconds in the latest trailer, where Link landed on it from a skydive and gently glided over Hyrule. Unlike the other powers revealed so far, there’s no evidence that this is connected to Link’s new arm. It also doesn’t look like it’s of Sheikah make, as it’s quite different from their other automatons such as the Guardians and Divine Bea
The quests are the primary objectives in BOTW , and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to complete all of them. Half of the challenge is simply finding them all, since there’s very little indication of who has a quest to give and who doesn’t, and quest givers can be found in the most random and unexpected of places. Even after players manage to find all the quests, they still will need to put in quite a bit of legwork in order to complete them. Some particularly difficult quests involve gathering extremely rare ingredients, or facing off against enemies that can easily vanquish them if they’re unprepared, or fulfilling incredibly specific or rare conditions. Whatever the reason, players can easily leave a few quests behind in even their most thorough of playthroughs, so it’s worth doing a few sweeps of Hyrule before TOTK comes
That said, it’s unclear exactly what state Zelda ’s Sacred Realm is in during the era of breath of the wild exploits of the Wild . The game’s somewhat ambiguous timeline placement makes it difficult to determine which branch it belongs to, though it’s said to take place at the end of the story. It’s possible that the Sacred Realm remains a safe land of light in this era, but there’s an equal chance that Ganon’s malice has corrupted this divine realm once again. As such, fans have speculated that BOTW and TOTK ’s stories will lead to the ending of the fractured Zelda timeli
When Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ , sequel to the hit _Breath of the Wild , releases, it can have some classic enemies that have appeared in past games’ bestiaries. So far, trailers and teaser videos have confirmed that some of BOTW ‘s enemies will return in Zelda: TOTK and that new enemies will also be coming, and there’s likely more that still haven’t been shown yet. The mysterious Zonai tribe is said to have vanished from Hyrule in an ancient time, but details regarding who they were and where they went are unknown. It’s possible that the Zonai tribe was the very same group of interlopers who once attempted to wield their magic over the Sacred Realm to bend it to their will, causing them to be imprisoned in the Twilight Realm. If the Zonai and the Twili truly are connected, then it stands to reason that the Twilight Realm will make another appearance as Tears of the Kingdom explores the mysteries of this ancient tr
In Breath of the Wild , Link has a variety of abilities at his disposal to help him navigate the world and defeat his enemies. The majority of these come from the Sheikah Slate, a mystical artifact left to him by Princess Zelda. With it, he can create bombs, manipulate metal, freeze water into climbable pillars, and even stop time for enemies or inanimate objects. Other powers come from the spirits of his friends, the former Champions who lost their lives fighting Calamity Ganon 100 years prior. From what’s been shown of Tears of the Kingdom so far, it’s uncertain if these powers will return, but thankfully there will be others to take their pl
The Darknut is an enemy that first appeared in the original Legend of Zelda game, where players had to attack them from behind to damage them. They take the form of large, dark suits of armor, and what’s beneath it varies from game to game. They are extremely strong enemies that possess powerful armor and shields as well as strong weapons, and were especially formidable in Twilight Princess , where they had two phases, armored and unarmored. There are different colors, with the most common being black, red, and blue, though one in Twilight Princess is g
Zant is the primary antagonist for most of Twilight Princess . He makes a deal with Ganondorf in exchange for his power, and transforms the Twili people into Shadow Beasts in order to conquer Hyrule. Zant, unlike most Twili, resents that he could not leave the Twilight Realm, and he also holds a deep hatred for Midna since she was chosen as its leader above him by its royal family. He presents himself as composed and calculating for most of the game, but during his last meeting with Link and Midna, he reveals himself to be completely unstable, and acts extremely erratically during his final boss fight. It’s possible that Zant’s pact with Zelda ‘s iconic antagonist Ganondorf caused him to behave differently in Twilight Princess , but he attributes this to being the only Twili to have emotions, which were suppressed by the Twilight Realm royal family, inst
