2017 was more of the same for G2, winning both the spring and summer splits, marking the organization’s third and fourth consecutive titles, cementing them as a European dynasty. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the juggernauts. Following Zven and Mithy leaving Europe to play in North America for Team SoloMid, and the exits of Trick and Expect, G2 was left with a roster consisting solely of their superstar Perkz. The team built around their mid laner, Bel’Veth Guide signing Martin „Wunder” Nordahl Hansen, Marcin „Jankos” Jankowski, Kim „Wadid” Bae-in and Petter „Hjarnan” Freyschuss for the 2018 sea
Aphromoo also spoke about his individual goals as a player. „What’s most important for me and for my goals is to make sure I play well and focus on vision score. I know my vision score has been lacking in the past years. Since I’ve come to DIG, I think our coach, Invert, was one of the first coaches that definitely coached me on my vision control ever, so that was ni
In perhaps one of the biggest esports news drops of the year, Team Liquid shockingly traded franchise cornerstone Doublelift to Team SoloMid after a ninth-place finish in the LCS. Doublelift will be replacing Kasper „Kobbe” Kobberup as the team’s starting AD carry through at least 2
With a team composed of Wunder in the top lane, Jankos in the jungle, Caps in the mid lane and Perkz and Mikyx in the bot lane, G2 would find their old form. This roster, composed of faces both old and new, gelled together in a way that was previously unseen. Caps unlocked something, and the team started to win again. But this time, they weren’t villains, they were her
It’s an unfortunate situation for Kobbe, who took a major risk leaving his home to play in North America. It’s currently unknown where the AD carry will wind up. He would usually have no issue finding another team, but with COVID-19, organizations are low on funds, and bringing in new players is an extremely difficult task with travel restricitions in pl
Regardless how you feel about poros typically, you can’t deny this wallpaper its merit. You might have noticed Riot Kayle flying after them in the background. What you might not have noticed is Riot Blitzcrank and Riot Graves hanging out the windows of the two cars giving chase. The theme of the Riot skins is that they are police, so this makes sense. The distinction you might have missed is that these are the only three Riot skins which only have the word Riot before the champion’s n
G2 found plenty of success at the 2018 Worlds, defeating China’s Royal Never Give Up in the quarterfinals, before losing to the soon-to-be champions Invictus Gaming in the semi finals. Fnatic would wind up beating North America’s Cloud9 in the semis and losing to Invictus in the fi
This time, the whole representation of the champion is literally flawless. All of the armor pieces along with the mighty sword look believable to an extent where you can almost see them being used in a battle. The amazingly good cosplay is so perfect that you can take it for an LoL screens
Despite the team’s seemingly never-ending inconsistencies, the Dignitas bot lane has been a glimmer of hope for fans of the franchise. Johnsun, the young AD carry acquired in the Vulcan deal, has impressed North American spectators. Born in Canada, Johnsun has proven himself valuable in a region where young, native talent is a rare commod
As a ranged hero, Xayah heavily relies on the deadly feathers that she throws with frightening precision. Her whole appearance tells that she’s wild and dangerous, and it goes along with her quest to protect her people. You shouldn’t be fooling around with such a masterful warr
The Void is a popular faction in League , and many of our favorite champions are involved with its lore. For those of us who dig into the lore aspect of the game, the most fun aspect of this image is Kassadin seeming to peek around the corner watching his foe Malzahar adva
This strategy works because of a mechanic with Senna, where killing minions has a chance of dropping souls, which Senna can collect, granting her bonus attack damage. So Senna actually doesn’t need the gold from CS to get stronger, she can just collect the souls that drop as her laning partner farms. Although DIG Academy lost with this strategy, Zven collected enough souls early game to the point where Immortals couldn’t handle his damage output, and Cloud9 was able to take the win. Zven and Vulcan will look to continue their domination for Cloud9 in the second half of the spring sp
With the season just halfway through, it can be argued that all five Cloud9 members are worthy of winning the Spring Split MVP. Each of them are dominating in their own way, but perhaps none are more deserving than Zven. Playing excellent both mechanically and mentally, Zven along with his support Vulcan have dominated the bot lane this season, and week 5 was no different. Zven played an excellent Varus against CLG, who Cloud9 unsurprisingly beat. What was surprising, however, was Cloud9’s choice of bot lane in their second game against Immortals. Zven actually played „support” Senna, while Vulcan went Tahm Kench, acting as the „carry.” This is a strategy similar to what Dignitas Academy employed in their matchup against Golden Guardians Academy, where AD carry Fenix went Senna and support Olleh went Galio. Fenix „supported” Olleh as he farmed with Ga
