Believe it or not, the Spring Split of the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series is already past its halfway point, and teams and players are starting to see themselves separate from the rest of the pack. Cloud9 leads the way, extending their dominant streak and continuing their quest for the coveted 18-0 undefeated season. Flyquest, now in sole possession of 2nd place, impresses once again and they now sit comfortably behind Cloud9 at 7-3. TSM continues to flip-flop between strong and shaky weeks, but the Bjergsen-led squad rounds out the top three at 6-4. As they and the rest of the players fight it out on the rift to distinguish themselves and their teams, some performances stood out from the r
SK Gaming finished as the second-worst team in the League of Legends European Championship this past spring. After winning just four out of their eighteen total games, SK announced some major roster shakeups that they hope will help propel them back into competition among Europe’s fin
Fiddlesticks has seen a huge surge in popularity thanks to his recent rework in league of legends glossary Of Legends . This terrifying champion now has eerie voice lines and his abilities make him a multiplayer nightmare on the battlefield both in the literal and figurative se
With the season just halfway through, it can be argued that all five Cloud9 members are worthy of winning the Spring Split MVP. Each of them are dominating in their own way, but perhaps none are more deserving than Zven. Playing excellent both mechanically and mentally, Zven along with his support Vulcan have dominated the bot lane this season, and week 5 was no different. Zven played an excellent Varus against CLG, who Cloud9 unsurprisingly beat. What was surprising, however, was Cloud9’s choice of bot lane in their second game against Immortals. Zven actually played „support” Senna, while Vulcan went Tahm Kench, acting as the „carry.” This is a strategy similar to what Dignitas Academy employed in their matchup against Golden Guardians Academy, where AD carry Fenix went Senna and support Olleh went Galio. Fenix „supported” Olleh as he farmed with Ga
Twitter user @sonwooang does a lot of awesome stripped-down League of Legends comics. Scrolling through, we found several which bought our attention. This one was simply the one we couldn’t move along with
League of Legends is a team-based game. There’s absolutely no way around out. Working together with other players and properly selecting the roles the team needs is essential to emerging victoriously. It’s important to communicate with the team as well. For example, if the team is rushing one specific section of Summoners Rift, that needs to be communicated. There’s a reason why these roles exist, as each one picks up the slack of the others. One bad apple can ruin the entire game. As a new player, it’s recommended to begin playing as each role until one feels like the right fit. Once it clicks, grind with that character until the player sees improvem
„No one wants to pick up Dardoch, that’s not my fault.” In what was perhaps the most talked-about news in League of Legends this year, Team SoloMid president Leena Xu’s controversy with Yiliang „Doublelift” Peng and Joshua „Dardoch” Hartnett caused an explosion in the community when Leena was overheard on Doublelift’s stream saying in a phone call that now-infamous series of words. Well, it turns out she was wrong, as the twenty-two-year-old jungler became the latest player to sign with Digni
Joining Dardoch is former Flyquest top laner Omran „V1per” Shoura, who recently signed with Dignitas after the team let go of Heo „Huni” Seung-hoon. Dignitas came into the Spring Split with moderately high expectations, fielding a roster of grizzled veterans Huni, Henrik „Froggen” Hansen, Zaqueri „aphromoo” Black and up-and-coming rookie Johnson „Johnsun” Nguyen. The team struggled heavily though, benching their jungler Jonathan „Grig” Armao in favor of academy jungler Matthew „Akaadian” Higginbot
Regardless how you feel about poros typically, you can’t deny this wallpaper its merit. You might have noticed Riot Kayle flying after them in the background. What you might not have noticed is Riot Blitzcrank and Riot Graves hanging out the windows of the two cars giving chase. The theme of the Riot skins is that they are police, so this makes sense. The distinction you might have missed is that these are the only three Riot skins which only have the word Riot before the champion’s n
If you’ve been following China’s League of Legends Pro League for a while, then you’re probably aware of LGD’s consistently poor performances in recent years. However, this may be coming to an end, or so their fans hope, with the additions of former RNG top laner Xie „Langx” Zhen-Ying and former Dominus players Ling „Mark” Xu and Su „xiye” Han-
This build has you ignore Thick Skin until level 14 and instead focus on Tongue Lash and Devour with only a single point in Abyssal Voyage at level six. The goal is to disrupt enemy attacks using slow and stun, and using Devour to disrupt an opponents attack or give Tahm a chance to recover in pe
